The Gear we Have :
We have a "backline" that is modest but effective.
Drums : We now have a new kit
- ION Pro 12
with the older set arranged as a "spice rack", offering
percussion sounds - so it's snare, kick, two toms and floor
with a crash, a ride, a splash.

Then the sounds on the ION IE2 rack as well.
(That's Ed our Crew Chief play testing the rig)
Vocals: four vocal mics (more
if necessary)
also one Sennheiser wireless(vocal mic)unit.
Bass: a small Behringer 1-15 150watt amp
Guitar: a 50 watt Peavey
Bandit - you can supply a second
amp if you have more than one guitarist.
Direct: two direct boxes
Keyboardists - you can bring a
keyboard, and we will run it direct
We DO NOT have a piano in this - so bring your keyboard
We have four wedge monitors and two monitor
mixes,
so hearing yourself on stage is not usually a problem.
We understand many of you have much better drumsets and
amps, but this is about keeping the music flowing! Which
requires this approach.
You can of course bring any FX pedals you need
for your sound
and are welcome to "tune up" with our off stage tuner
before
you get up there.
The main (PA) system is tri-amped and 1000 watts - it carries all
players
so big amps on stage are not needed
